Flying Fox

This is an overlap animation exercise I just "finished", but its not really done, there are still a bunch of improvements that can be made. For now though, I'm going to set this particular animation aside and do overlap with a pendulum.

This is a video of Jamaal Bradly's(Senior animator at Dreamworks..yeah..hes a big deal), shot progression from the movie Tangled. After watching this clip I literally walked around my house singing out lines from thing the darn thing, and pretending I was skilled enough to work on the shot. Jamaal is amoung the top 10% in the business. Has bucket loads of talent, and is a sheer beast. Come see this man in any animated arena and your gunna got bodied...hard.

Fffff...ehh..progress?

Been working on bouncing ball for about two weeks now, going on three, going to start dreaming about them soon. Haha just joking, hopefully I'll nail this before that happens.

Learning Perspective

Learning how to draw things in perspeeectiivvve. Sucks, but its a skill I defiantly need to learn. Another late night of animating and drawing. Not ready to start posting my animation exercises. #notimpressed.

Journey to Pixar

Ah, the journey to Pixar!! Er - or whatever other excellent job opportunity comes along, a noobie animator cant be too picky now can he? Methinks(yes I said methinks....feels good too...) this blog will not only showcase work, but be a useful tool to gauge my work progress.
